When creating a website my usual policy is the independence of the client concerning the content management.
I always include a training step in the quote, even though i can ensure myself the future content updates on a rate base.
With my experience on many different plateforms I can train you on your existant website if you already have a backend administration.
The training can concern the update of contents but also specific technical aspects like managing products in the case of an online shop or managing users in the case of a forum. The training can also concern the security aspects.
Tutorials will be delivered in Word or PDF format to ensure you a long-terme independence.
Server installation and managing (host and domain names)
In a website creation project my first fundemental step can be the host and domain name subscription.
I will analyze the best option depending on your demands and the type of website. It can be a shared hosting service, a virtual or dedicated server. My usual policy is to put the hosting subscription under your name so you can keep a total independence.
In the case of a redesigning website project I can manage any migration to another host, or add domain names on an existing host, or improve security, etc.
In case of a dedicated or virtual server I can manage the complete installation using the Linux system (debian, centos, redhat, fedora).
